As we are in the first quarter of the the New Year, have you made the necessary changes to your diet and exercise routine to make 2023 a healthy New Year? With the onslaught of viruses and bacteria floating around, it is important to have your body fine tuned and and ready to handle whatever comes your way. You truly are what you eat, and if you eat junk food, then that is what is what your are feeding your cells. Over time, it will be like running an engine with dirty gas, and you risk the engine giving out.
One way to know where you stand, is to partner with a functional medicine physician or naturopath and have your vitamin and mineral levels tested. Once you have this valuable information, you can then use food as your medicine, and supplement with natural supplements if needed.
