Magnesium Supplementation

Magnesium is one of the most important minerals that is needed for muscle, nerves, bones and to help regulate blood sugar. The majority of people are magnesium deficient due to poor eating habits, plus a food supply devoid of minerals and nutrients. Many underlying health issues can be directly tied to low levels of magnesium, so this is one supplement that gives a big "bang for the buck", since it is involved in so many bodily processes.

Unless you have kidney dysfunction, adding daily magnesium supplementation is one of the most important supplements that can be taken daily to help boost your health. There are many types of magnesium to choose from--> citrate, glycinate, bisglycinate, oxide, maleate, L-threonate, Taurate, and chelated forms, and they each serve a different purpose. Some forms of magnesium are poorly absorbed (the oxide form), so save your money and switch to a more absorbable form. At Freedom Health Shop, we like the gylcinate, bisglycinate or chelated forms due to their better absorption. For stress and relaxation, you may choose the L-threonate form, or for headaches and constipation, the citrate form.

Another easy way beside supplementation, is to add magnesium into your body is through epsom salt baths or using magnesium sprays and oils on the skin after showering.
